Full-Time Web Developer

TrackMan Baseball is seeking a Software Engineer who is passionate about sports and eager to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and creative environment.
As the Web Developer, your primary responsibility is to build interfaces in mobile and desktop environments for use by Major League Baseball teams and amateur baseball organizations. In addition, you will develop and build new products which will help expand TrackMan’s reach into the baseball market.
As the Web Developer, you will work in close collaboration with US and Denmark based staff to develop a website (Front and Backend) that delivers BIG DATA to multiple segments of the baseball industry in formats that are actionable, accessible, and attractive. Some domestic and international travel may be required.
- BS in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field
- Either Python, PHP, or Java
- SQL or others
- Sports knowledge
- 3-5 years’ experience

About TrackMan Baseball
TrackMan develops 3D Doppler radar based hardware and software that is revolutionizing baseball analytics by directly measuring and reporting on the full trajectory and spin rate of hit and pitched baseballs.
Launched in 2011, TrackMan technology is now used by the majority of Major League Baseball teams to inform strategic decisions. Qualified candidates will receive a detailed overview of TrackMan’s accomplishments, as there is little information about TrackMan Baseball in the public domain due to confidentiality agreements in place with TrackMan’s MLB team customers.
Location: Stamford CT, about 30 miles north of New York City and easily accessible via Metro-North
