Job Description

Jewellery Quarter Bullion are seeking an experienced Django Developer to bolster our growing development team as we continue to improve our systems and expand internationally.

Salary: Competitive + bonus (up to 30%)

Key responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining our bespoke e-commerce websites and APIs.
  • Configuring, monitoring, and maintaining our server infrastructure.
  • Working closely with other team members to produce high-quality features, on time and on budget.
  • Working to improve your skills and sharing them with other team members.
  • Helping to specify, plan, and estimate web-based solutions.

What we’re looking for

Essential

  • At least three years Python experience.
  • At least three years Django experience.
  • Experience coding HTML5, CSS (we use Sass), and JavaScript.
  • Experience building e-commerce or other web-based business systems.
  • An active learner dedicated to improving themselves and their team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Beneficial

  • Experience with unit testing and continuous integration.
  • Unix system administration or DevOps skills.
  • Amazon Web Services.
  • Cyber security.
  • Foreign languages.
  • Technical writing.
  • An interest in financial markets, economics, and cryptocurrencies.
