Full-Time Django Developer
NOTE: This job listing has expired and may no longer be relevant!
Rover.com is looking to add an additional Django developer to our small but quickly growing team.
As a small startup, you’ll likely wear several hats, but your primary job will be to develop new features for our rapidly expanding product offering.
As a new company, we don’t have a horrible legacy codebase, just well-manicured code running on top of cutting-edge Django (1.3+).
If you’re interested in biting off large pieces of functionality, working on them mostly uninterupted for several days, and seeing those features deployed to our live website soon afterwards, we’d love to talk to you.
If you have solid technical fundamentals, you can learn just about anything on the job. That being said, some experience with web technologies will be very helpful (especially web frameworks). Our core technology stack consists of:
- AWS EC2
- AWS RDS (Relational Database Service)
Rover.com was founded as “A Place for Rover” at the June 11th Startup Weekend. You can read about our beginnings and watch a video of us pitching the idea in this article:
We’ve become accustomed to our weekly happy hours and would love to have one more at the table.
How to Apply
