What’s your favorite Python editor?

There are quite a few editors available for Python and everybody has his own favorite one. It would be interesting to know which editor do you use for Python and why. You can include what you like about your favorite Python editor in the comments below.

    Yup, I forsee OP getting a fair bit of people shouting about Sublime Text 2, seeing as they haven’t included it ;)

    Open Source, multiplatform, leightweight and feature rich at the same time, and most of all, “extremely intuitive” (I don’t want to spend more time learning how to use an IDE than I’ve spend learning the programming language in itself, which is usually the case of most IDE’s).
